Painting
Choose a canvas, grab some acrylics, and have fun with paint!
Acrylic paints can be watered down to a transparent, watercolor-like state, or the colors can be layered on thickly. Acrylics are forgiving and can be easily be manipulated on canvas to make beautiful paintings or mixed media works.
- Draw a simple outline drawing on a canvas (we have idea books and artists on hand to help)
- Experiment with various colors of acrylic paint to come up with a palette you like
- Paint the design on your canvas – relax and enjoy the feeling of putting color on a blank page
- If you’d like you can add embellishments and ink outlines to create a multimedia piece
